BARD

Bards are entertainers and are designed to inspire others to do their best. They come from all walks of life whether they are commoners or nobles since each study the art of music in their own way. In Prayers of Heresy, Bards may be male or female. Just like dancers, the bards must continue performing in order to keep the beneficial effects going with their allies. Effects of each song can be stopped if they change songs, are suddenly struck, or just decide to stop playing.
MAIN SKILLS
A bard may sing each song once per every 2 character levels per day, not counting Non-Combatant, unless otherwise noted.
Bards must stay stationary in order to sing uninterrupted until they learn the Move +3 skill.
The moment a bard stops their song the effects cease to continue, and that song slot is considered used up even if they didn’t complete a full round or were interrupted part-way through it.
Characters who are deaf are not affected by a bard's singing.
- Angel Song: Gives more energy to the casters to allow them to cast once more. (For casters only)
- Life Song: Gives a small amount of energy back to their allies. Heals minor cuts and bruises at best.
- Cheer Song: Gives allies an adrenaline rush, causing them to want to work or move faster. (Master class ONLY)
- Battle Song: Causes allies to put more effort and power behind their strikes, adding +10% hit. (For warriors only)
- Magic Song: Causes allies to put more effort into their spells, adding +10% hit. (For casters only)
- Nameless Song: Randomly casts Regen, Protect, Shell, or Haste on all allies. The affected players may choose which spell effect their character will have, however they must stick to that effect for the entirety of the bard’s song and are not permitted to switch benefits. May be sang once per month. (Master class ONLY)
- Last Song: A short song where all allies are inspired to attack at one time, and the skill they wish to utilize is reset in this one instance. In-game this allows all of the bard’s allies to strike next in battle for one round. May be sang only once per month. (Master class ONLY)

OTHER SKILLS
- MA Save: Whenever the bard takes a serious physical blow, all of their magic-based class skills temporarily double in potency for the next three rounds with an increased hit chance of +15%. May only be used once per day. (Master class ONLY)
- Faith Up: Whenever a bard is struck by offensive magic, the player may choose to have the effects of the song doubled during the next round of posts. May only be used once per day.
- Fly: Bard may leap off of a high location and safely tumbles to the ground without incurring injury. (Master class ONLY)
- Move +3: Bard may now move and run about while still performing without causing interruption. This includes any other kinds of complex spells that require speech as a component for casting.
